You hear a knock so lightly on the door,
To the entrance with the candy in the bowl.
No one to answer so you put the sweets away,
When you look back there's a box wrapped on the ground.
On a tag there's two sets of handwritting, one crossed out and barely readable:
I would go trick or treating, but my partner thinks the bunny suit is a bit too much. So I'll go hit on all of the Gaians I can.

As the war rages on, you notice what has to be the oddest fight you've seen yet. A blue furry monster in a vampire costume is collecting candy cheerfully, when suddenly a dark elf notices him and tackles him to the ground, knocking the bag of candy out of his claws. Well, this wasn't such a good idea of the dark elf's part. And he realized that too, when he was sent fifteen feet in the air and came crashing down on some dumpsters. The poor monster, he knelt down at his now ruined hoard of sweets and languished over them like his best friend had died. After watching the scene awkwardly, you walk over to the monster and offer him some of your own Halloween candy, and he instantly comes out of his fit and gives you a crushing bear hug as he keeps repeating 'I love you I love you I love you~' until you start to become blue yourself and he lets go. He smiles and begins to leave in search of more candy, when he stops and turns around and says:
''By the way, I'm Mr. Monster Guy. Thanks for cheering me up~''

I have become better than I was now. As a specter there is not much I can give, but I hope this is something you have wished for. I shall continue watching over this place to give what I can, and ascend.

Throughout the streets of rioting & fighting, you see a tall figure start to run off. Thinking they are a foe you give chase. The coated figure is quick on their feet, but you cut them off by use of an alleyway. Weapon raised you go to strike, only to have your weapon hit something hard. You see it is the figure's arm. It is glowing slightly & seems to have turned to crystal. ''St-Stars... I-I&m not an-an enemy!'', says the figure, now to be revealed as a tall, slender young man with ethereal teal eyes that seem to glow faintly & a chestnut locks. You look at him in confusion, asking him why he is here, but a foe catches your attention & you turn to attack. In the confusion, you catch glimpse of the young man disintegrating into a crystalline dust. Once the small fight ends, you walk back to the spot the man once stood to find a gift in his place. You pick it up & read the tag. It reads, ''I may not be able to fix my own heart, but I will fix yours.''

They the broken, enchanted, bow to thee in thy gossamer gown,
Mine broken heart mended, tis thy sweet love the cure!

After so much fighting and the noise that comes with it, it's a bit of a shock when you find yourself on a silent street. As you walk, you notice a large amount of red smears and puddles as well as a powerful smell marking them as blood, but due to the nature of the event the blood is fairly normal by now but the lack of bodies isn't. You nervously look around when you hear something being dragged along the ground and see a young woman dragging one of the previously missing bodies to a large pile of what you assume to be the rest of the bodies from the street. "What do you want?" The sudden sound of the woman's voice startles you after the silence and you quickly turn your attention back to her. She's watching you with wary emerald eyes that seem far older than they should and as you open you mouth to answer, the sounds of a fight reaches your ears from further down the street and distracts you. When you turn back to the woman again she's gone and the pile of bodies is bodies is now burning, though you spy a white box sitting where she had been standing. You go and pick it up and notice a note tucked under the blue ribbon.

Fleeing from the enemy, you duck into an abandoned warehouse. You hide behind some old crates and wait for an opportunity to slip away when you hear gunshots and followed closely by their screams and the sound of falling bodies. You stay behind your crates, hoping that whoever was killing them wouldn't find you when silence returns, broken only by a single set of footsteps that were heading straight for your hiding place. You look up in fear as a young woman walks into view and looks at you with emotionless emerald eyes surrounded by dark circles as if she hadn't slept properly in weeks. You shut your eyes as she raises her gun and... "Falinn..?" The mans voice startles you into opening your eyes and see your would be killer backing away with a look of confusion, her gaze focused on someone behind you before turning and seeming to vanish into the gloom of the warehouse. You turn towards where the mans voice had come from, but see nothing except a red box. You walk over and pick it up, noticing a note tucked under the white ribbon:
Locked away in a cold grey room,
I watch her through the shuttered slit,
Pace the room and tear her hair,
And mumble warnings to herself...
The hounds is coming...
The hounds is coming...
Keep them away, keep them away...
The hounds are coming...
The hounds are coming...
Please let me get away...
Her life torn asunder,
Her world lost in flame,
Cast adrift, going under,
With only her name...
The monsters are coming...
The monsters are coming...
Don't look them in the eye...
The monsters are coming...
The monsters are coming...
Please let me get away...
One shock to many,
One loved one too few,
The price of a bad day,
Made her different from you...
The hounds are coming...
The hounds are coming...
Keep them away, keep them away...
My mind is breaking...
My mind is breaking...
Please just let me die...

Trying to avoid the worst of the fighting, you find yourself on a street that's mostly empty, only a few bodies here and there. You walk down the street and suddenly feel like you're being watched. You look around but see no one, so you keep walking though now you think you hear an extra set of footsteps... You immediately look around again, but there's still no sign of another living person on the street with you. You turn around and jump about twenty feet in the air and about fifty back (figuratively of course) since a young brunette woman had somehow appeared right behind you. She grins at you, though it somehow seems off and almost creepy and you can't figure out why... Until you realize that it didn't reach her coldly emotionless, emerald eyes. "What are you doing out here by yourself? Could get yourself killed.", she snickers, though her eyes still remained cold and emotionless. You start to back away, which only causes her to laugh some more as she pulls out a green sphere from somewhere in her jacket. "Tell me... Have you ever wished you could fly?" She presses a button on the sphere and it starts beeping. Someone suddenly grabs you and you find yourself on the other side of the street, the side you had previously been on now engulfed in a large explosion. You turn to face the person who had saved you, but they're gone. You look around again before running all the way back to your home where you find a white box sitting on your doorstep. Frowning, you pick it up and notice a note tucked under the blue ribbon:
Well, have you?

The box has started ticking...

You're running through the war torn streets and hear the sound of gunfire and head for it, hoping to possibly help out your gang. But what you see as you round a corner stops you in your tracks. You see members of both gangs fighting against a single woman who's shooting them down while laughing a creepily emotionless laugh. You stare in horror when bullet after bullet hits the woman and she doesn't so much as flinch as she pulls out a green sphere and throws it into a large group. It immediately explodes and you look away, unable to witness the undoubtedly gory scene. All too soon, the gunfire ceases and you look back to see the woman grinning at you, though it doesn't reach her cold, emerald eyes. You start to back away only to whirl around and run when she walks towards you. You hear her laugh right before the bark of her gun, and your left knee is suddenly unable to hold you up as it's engulfed in agony. You try to climb back to your feet, but she shoots your elbows next before kicking your side to flip you over. She watches you silently for a moment, the crazed grin still in place before seeming to get distracted by something in the distance. She absently raises gun again and shoots you twice more in the stomach while dropping a white box next to you. As she walks off, she begins to sing (this is a link here, click it) as she opens fire on a fresh group of gang members that had just stumbled upon the scene. Even though you're in pain, you turn your head towards the box she left and see a tag on it:
-Falinn
You realize the box is ticking only a moment before it explodes...
((Disclaimer Thing: As much as I would have loved to have provided the voice for Falinn, it was actually one of my friends taking pity and letting me steal her voice))
