A petite woman dressed in all black approaches you in a dark alley, a sinister grin on her face. The aura around her just screams an evil so despicable it can't be put into words, but she doesn't look like shes going to hurt you. As you turn to run, she reaches into her cloak slowly, and pulls out...a small gift box, clasping your hand with hers and giving you the present. You stare down at the box for a second, paralyzed with fear, then look back up to thank her, but shes already disappearing back into the darkness from which she came. Deciding she has already gone, you read the note left on the present the mysterious woman has given you.

You are walking late at night when you see her. She is just standing there watching you. Then she smiles and waves taking you off guard. You wave back. You blink and suddenly she's not there. You then feel a hot breath on the side of your neck. &V-v-vampire& you stutter. You here an almost musical chuckle. &Yes& she says her voice music to your ears. You instinctively put your hand to your neck. You again hear the musical chuckle. &No. I won't be biting you... well at least not tonight& She pulls out a package. &This is for you& You notice it is a present. You turn around to thank her but she has disappeared. You sigh in relief that she didn't bite you.

You throw yourself into the lake as human bait for an anon... Then realize that it probably wasn't the best idea you've had, since the water is really cold... and there's something big swimming towards you! You cringe and close your eyes in fear as the thing comes towards you, but when you open your eyes, you find yourself being carried onto the dock. You look up at your rescuer to see a giant cobalt blue creature place you back on the wooden dock.

'Of all the crazy... Don't do that again! You scared me, and I'm usually the one doing the scaring!' He then takes out a present from -who know where- and hands it to you. 'Will this keep you from leaping into the water again?' He then gets up, shakes the water from his fur, and looks at you, then gives you a concerned smile.

'Stay out of trouble, okay?' And with that he walks off, leaving you with the present marked with the tag:

As you sit with your pole in the water, letting your mind wander to your favorite superheroes, you gaze up at the stars. One bright one catches your attention and you close your eyes, making a wish. When you open them again, you are shocked to find your line is no longer in the water.

You follow the line with your gaze, realizing the end of it is now behind you, being held by a silvery prince. He smiles warmly before kneeling next to you. &You are a fan of Batman? I suppose I shall have to keep you safe from my fellow creature of the night.& He places a kiss on your forehead and a gift in your hand. &Afterall, he is known to capture theives, and you my dear, have stolen my heart.&

You look down at the gift, then back at him. All you find is stardust.

Running down the shore line I happen upon you.
