Organization: Teutonic Order
Also known as "O.T.O.", the order was initially created to protect the Christians on their crusade to the "Promised Land" as well as spread Christianity to the lands they passed through. Over the next 800 years however it began losing its purpose and eventually started conquering surrounding lands to satiate its greed. A band of countries including America, Greece, Italy, and Bulgaria poured their forces into ending the order's reign and reconquered the lands it had taken. The Teutonic Order reformed later on, however this time as a charitable organization for Sparks who had graduated and did not become Guardians or find jobs. Their purpose was to help and give back to the non-Sparks in order to keep peace and balance between the two distinct groups.
However in recent years, the organization's existence became lost to the knowledge of even the families of those who joined the Teutonic Order. Due to the large influence of the Guardians of Temperance, the order grew spiteful. Its attention turned to the Shadows and began wiping them out one by one, leaving the harder ones for the Guardians to take care of or die trying. They went into hiding during the influx of Shadows that permeated Tempera and remained under the radar for quite some time. The decision that sealed their fate was the induction of a Guardian whom they kidnapped and tortured brutally in order to convert her to their ideals instead of the Guardians. Years after with a devastating encounter with a powerful Shadow, the Guardian turned on the order and wiped out every branch in each country within the next year. Eights and Providence do not have branches due to the fact that the Guardian stopped the development of another branch in those countries.
The current status of the organization remains unclear, but it is suspected that it may be shut down permanently to prevent history from repeating itself.

Persons belonging to a branch carry two crosses: O.T.O.'s main cross and their branch cross, which is located next to each description. These may be carried on a chain necklace or embedded on clothing, as long as the Knight is identifiable. The following descriptions are of each branch located in each country:
