I heard the crackling and felt the heat.
I thought I heard the pleading screams of agony.
In the blaze, I thought I'd see, my mother panicked, engulfed in flames.
No one moved, no one screamed. Only roars from the house that burned. I didn't understand what I had done or how I did it, nor do I remember why I did it. I just know that I did it. I set the house and mother ablaze. Now they're gone and so was I..
