Abilities: In Shikai his reiatsu concentrates on the space around the opponent and user, meaning using an attack that pulls an opponent in or pushes them away would be near impossible to dodge since the attack concentrates on the space around them. These abilities more or less do little damage and only create openings, meaning the attack that follows will be the attack worth dodging. Marik can also control his Zanpakuto without holding them, meaning he can fight three opponents all in different areas, his sight is linked to the zanpakuto so he knows what to do in order to block dodge and attack even without being there.
Attacks:
• Repel- Focusing a medium amount of reiatsu, after releasing it anything within 15 feet is blown back 20 yards.
• Attract- Using concentrated reiatsu building up in the spot desired, Marik can force an enemy in any direction but most commonly used to pull them towards him for a fatal blow.
• 1,000 Man Attack- The name is an exaggeration but the thought would place most in fear. Marik will duplicate his body creating 10 clones of himself, each clone is easily taken out but they do create a distraction unlike anything else. The clones can physically hurt the opponent.

Abilities: Initial abilities are increased can Repel up to 20 feet and sends them 40 yards, and can now attract multiple opponents if desired as well his zanpakuto being able to split in half creating four swords so he can either wield them while he fights or he can use them to fend off two more attackers.

• Barrier Repel- Marik will create a barrier around him and up to 10 others, the barrier will repel every attack for 4 posts. This is the strongest barrier known to the soul society.
• Multiple Attraction- Marik can focus his reiatsu on multiple spots and force up to four opponents to be thrown in a desired direction.
• 1,000,000 Man Attack- again exaggerated name. But this attack can use 20 clones, they are still easy to take out but instead of it just being a physical impact the attack will need to be a reiatsu based attack in order to disperse them. Each clone can now use a fraction of the originals power and attacks.

Background History:
• Marik does not speak of his living days, rather he talks of his academy days in the soul society. Marik graduated from the academy second to none, his intelligence astounded even the Captain of Division 12. Marik wanted to study under him in order to gain even more knowledge. The Captain took him in and let him use the lab everyone else would be killed just for entering. Marik already helped on hundreds of experiments that the Captain couldn't finish himself. Marik was promoted to lieutenant, doing a dangerous experiment on his Captain after being ordered to do so. Marik was nervous but still did his best, after the failed experiment the Captain "died". Marik was promoted once again, this time he became Captain. The body of the previous Captain was never found, Marik is attempting to bring "life" back into the previous Captain. Marik is no slouch, he has been in the front lines of battle countless amounts of times. He is a trump card, with his powers he fights much better with a group.
