Yesterday, May 29th, 2011, Oreo (my black and white female cat) had six baby kittens! I woke up around 9am and heard her crying outside so I went into the garage to feed her, when I heard a tiny mew. I looked in the cardboard box with towels that I put out for her, and I seen a tiny white kitten! The momma cat didn't go inside the box with it, so I let her inside and she went under my bed.

Charles brought the box inside in my room and a few minutes later, we discovered that she took the kitten under my bed. So we got them and put them back into the box as I watched her give birth for 7 hours. Since took so long with each one that everyone she had, we thought it was the last. I had to help her because a few wouldn't come out all the way. And I cut the umbilical cord on one.

Finally around 5:30pm we thought she was done, 5 white kittens. But my grandma said "What's that?" and it was a black and white one! It was the last one too. They're all so cute! I'm glad that they are healthy and getting enough food! Oreo was SO tired by the end of the day, she passed out. I've been watching the kittens for hours, and I love every one of them!
