I'm glad to announce that I, Corrina Romero, am no longer morbidly obese! I am now 20 years old and just a couple of years ago I reached the peek weight of 289 pounds! What a depressing number..
I'm proud to say that I am now under 200 pounds! 198 to be exact. I haven't seen under 200 pounds in over six years! It's taken a lot of hard work and dedication. I am eating a lot healthier and exercising everyday. It's turned into a good habit! I drink a lot more water and I have a ton of energy that I never had before.
I can now feel confident when I go to the mall to try on cute clothes, I don't have to hide my face to take pictures because I don't have a double chin anymore, and I simply walk at a moderate pace without getting out of breath. I feel like a whole new person! This is a fresh start to a new year!
I don't really have a goal weight, I just wanna be able to look in the mirror naked and be happy with what I see.. My college Health professor said that if you are happy with yourself physically then with numbers on a scale, you'll value yourself a lot more. I do weigh myself once in a while, but I think not having a scale in the house is better because I'm not waking up freaking out over numbers.
I still have some ways to go, but I've gotten so far and I'm going to keep going. More time, more work, more dedication. I can reach my goal! I know I can!
