~The Sun in my Life
As the sun sets over the city,
And shines it's light on the moon.
Helping others to become pretty,
I know it'll shine on me soon.
Some days the clouds come,
And I feel okay just for a while,
But then my face becomes numb,
And until there's shine, I won't smile.
Storm coming down hard on me,
I will push through the wind and rain,
In the end, I will be filled with glee.
When I can see the rays once again.
No matter how hideous the storm,
The light will take away the pain I know.
The cold withers as the air becomes warm,
And the sun creates the vibrant rainbow.
The sun never fails to warm my heart,
it can be any time or any place.
I'd chose to be together, not apart,
I'd rather have sunshine upon my face.
Either the present or the future,
Whether I'd be your girlfriend or wife,
Teens with ignorant or old and mature.
I'd want you to be the Sun in my life.
