A broken princess
An unspoken prince
Living in a broken palace
Once in glory
Now in shame
What happened to the way it used to be?
Things were beautiful
Before the fall
Glory and innocence
Now taken away
Left to fight for another day.
Now we’re living in a broken palace
Broken homes and broken families all around
Left alone with pain and darkness surrounding
A broken world
Unspoken hearts
Only the King can restore the glory we once knew
But He seems to have forsaken us in this time of need
Left our hearts here to bleed…
So we keep on pushing
Keep on fighting
Trying to find our lives
Trying to find love
Just trying to survive.
She was a broken princess
She once lived in innocence
Now she lives in shame
And no one knows her name.
He’s an unspoken prince
Now he’s never been the same since
He’s living in his shame
No one remembers his name.
They’re living in a broken palace
Broken homes and broken families all around
Left alone with pain and darkness surrounding
A broken world
Unspoken hearts
Only the King can restore the glory we once knew
But He seems to have forsaken us in this time of need
Left our hearts here to bleed…
But He came to restore it all
He has not forsaken us since the fall
He came to rescue and restore us
Ransom and redeem us
Our restored palace is waiting for us
One day when He takes us home
But until then His love breaks through.
Innocence restored
Shame taken away in His name
He wraps His arms around us
His love surrounds us
We’re living in a broken palace
Broken homes and broken families all around
But not alone with the pain and darkness surrounding
A broken world
Unspoken hearts
Only the King can restore the glory we once knew
And that is what He intends to do
But He hasn’t forsaken us in this time of need
Left our hearts here to bleed
He does not forsake those who call on His name.
So we call on His name
And dwell under the shadow of His wings
We live in a broken palace
But He hasn’t forsaken us in our time of need
He’ll hold us until He takes us home…

Where I will post poems I write
I need more than just religion
Cause I'm religiously unmoved.
