Amu's POV-
It's been awhile since I've received a letter. That is, until today. I reluctantly opened the white mail box sitting in front of my house, and snatched the letters. Shifting through them, I finally found one with my name on it.
As I struggled to open it, a strong, stirring wind took over, and landed the letter over to my neighbor's yard. Relieved they were gone for the day, I ran over and grabbed the letter. The wind must've took the letter out of its protective envelope. I unfolded some edges of it, and began to read.
After a few seconds, the world around me felt blurry. No, I was crying. Tears pooled out of my yellow eyes. Why is this happening?
I rushed inside my house, and threw open my bedroom door. I sat in the corner, and dropped the letter beside me. Slowly, I huddled my knees up to my chest, and thought about what the letter had explained.

Ikuto's POV-
So, I thought of seeing Amu today. I haven't seen her in about...I don't know, two days? Seems like a long time if you ask me.
"Ikuto-kun, where are you going, nya~?" Yoru spoke, waking up from his nap.
"Amu's house. Be back soon." I sauntered over to the door, and closed it behind me as I left.
"Oh, alright....nya...." Yoru dozed off again.
Seeing Amu's house in sight, I knocked on the door. No one answered after four knocks, so I glanced over to the right. Their car was still there. Maybe the family was really sleepy?
As I jiggled the doorknob, the door opened. Raising an eyebrow, I sauntered inside. The house was all silent, until I heard a sniff, and then an even louder one. At first, I thought it was Ami, but when I followed my hearing, it lead me to Amu?
There she was, in the corner of her room, sulking.
"Yo, Amu..." I reached over and tapped her shoulder, but she slapped it violently away. "Don't bother me!" She yelled. "Don't you know what happened?"

Amu's POV-
What? Seriously? How could he not know? Didn't Nagihiko send everyone a letter about this tragic event?
"Know what? What happened?" Ikuto asked.
There goes his curiosity. Sure, I adore it, but he really needs to sound serious right now.
I stood up carefully, him watching. As I got his attention, I handed him the letter, and announced, "Tadase died."

Ikuto's POV-
...What? How? When? What?
This was just awkward. Today, it's a sunny day. Birds singing, people smiling. And the next thing I know, the girl I like is dramatic and her friend dies?
I quickly glanced at the letter. In small words, were:
This Saturday @ 9:00 AM, Funeral Home. Be there.
I sighed deeply.
