They were showing They Live! last night, and watching it, I was startled by how relevant it still is, despite being a B-Movie staring a Professional Wrestler. I kept thinking how well suited it would be to an updated remake with better acting and production values. I mean the economic and class issues are if anything more acute than when the thing was shot and there's a lot of untapped drama and humor you could build into the scenario with better writing. Think how gloriously sureal the right film maker could make it.
