So apparently this morning, the office received a phone call that there might be a student with a gun coming on campus. My sis and I were driving down the road and we see a police car use the suicide lane many thousands of feet away from the left- hand turn pocket. We do this weird rant thing when we see an adult do that, like: "Oh great police dude! You just set a great example for everyone!" So we just shrugged and drove up to the intersection to find the police car blocking the street. My sis pulled to the side of the rode next to one of her friend's mom's car. And apparently, her friend asked the police man what was going on, and he was all like: "I don't know." So after trying to find parking a few streets away from the school we walked to the intersection in front of the school and see a huge group of students. *To shorten it... : We stood there from 7:16-8:30 a.m. watching the police direct traffic, police cars drive into the school parking lot, and see a few helicopters pass over the school. And finally they let us into the school after confirming there wasn't a student with a gun on campus.
*Good News*
No one got killed, every student who came to school missed first period, and our school appeared on channel 9 news.
*Bad news*
We still had to go to our other five periods and the police dudes stayed on campus all day long staring us down as we walked in the hallways.
