Mutters into darkness
with no hope of an escape
Echos off of empty walls
filled with lies and broken promises
Sitting alone in the corner
broken from the pain
She holds herself
held by only fraying strings
Lifting hands towards strands of light
filtered through dirty windows
Grasping at half thoughts
screaming into deaf ears .
