Longer Ago and Farther Away
In a land that nobody knew
the sky was green the grass was pink
and the clouds was a reddish blue
There sat a girl with a head of thoughts
Who's mind could wow the stars
And at that moment she then decided
She'd be the Sun the Moon and Mars.
She then left for a grander world
Where she could achieve her dream
She went over hills and mountains then
She came upon a steam.
The stream was crystal, as if made of glass
So smooth it was almost sad
The girl knelt down and then her frown
turned into something mad
In the reflection of the crystal pool
She saw something most comply
She looked straight up and took a breath
A rainbow painted the sky
This new discovery left her in aw
The beauty that arched the sky
She needed to find a way to it
But she didn't know how to fly
So she began to walk to find the start
To see where it was born
Miles she traveled to find this place
So it would no longer be forlorn
Then to a grove she came upon
Where she parted the vines that hung
And there she stood in amazing belief
The spring that only legends sung
A fountain of colors poured from some rocks
Into a rippling pool of gold
So there she knelt and scooped her hands
then tasted a flavor untold
At that moment she began to change
From her toes to the tips of her hair
Rainbow colors covered her self
her skin no longer its fair
And there she stood one with her self
Covered from head to toe
A rainbow blessed child of lore
Her wish granted so that she may show
From that day on she lived as one
with the sky and with the earth
She blesses both when each collide
She give beauty it's rebirth.
