-Abyssal Rose:The Mask That Hides the Heart-
Riku fell into a semiconscious state which left him breathless.He opened his eyes only to see that the world was black.He stood up and began walking forward.Without any hope, he saw a path that appeared to look like a stairway made of icy-glass, as he continued on it trying to figure out what was going on.Riku followed the path which lead him into what resembled a beach.He saw a little boy with mid-night black hair and bright-teal colored eyes."Could that be....?"He whispered continued to observe the boy from watched from a distance.With in a second, a large dragon, bird-like hollow appeared in front of the boy, Riku ran towards him as he large Hollow began its attack.The Hollow attacked the boy and it was too late!"No!"Riku saw as the boy's face remained silent and calm.Suddenly, a large burst of dark reitsu clouded around the two as the Hollow attacked.Before he could do a thing, he saw that the ground ripped apart and saw that the area was growing black like before, Riku's vision blurred as he saw the boy looking directly at him.Soon, his world was black as well.Hours passed when Riku had the feeling that his body was"cold" He opened his eyes to see the rippling surface of water with the sunlight, growing faint.He then realized that he was underwater.How was it that he wasn't drowning?Why did he couldn't breathe?He turned beside his to see the boy sinking down, Riku rushed down to grab his hand when suddenly the boy opened his eyes faintly.Riku paused as he saw it was those eyes he saw when he fought an enraged Zanzura.It was at that moment, Riku finally understood what was going on.This lead him grab the boy's hand and let go of his breath to finally yell with all the breath he had left,"ZAANNNNZZZUUURRRAAAA!!!!!!!!"Riku saw the boy's eyes widen if as if they were in shock, when a dark cloud of reitsu flowed out from the boy and then around them.Riku amazingly was still conscious at the time and he looked around for the boy.The boy was no where to be found; however, Riku saw a giant Hollow mask that resembled Zanzura's, that slowly cracked and shattered with the sound of breaking glass."What is this?"Riku took a step closer and saw a blood-red, four sided, diamond-shaped jewel that gave off a light as if it was held in sunlight.It shined brightly thought the never-ending darkness causing it to gleam if it was sheer beauty."Could this be...His heart?"Riku continued to question himself as he reached out, to hold the divine jewel.As he held it in his hand, dark reitsu suddenly flowed rapidly around him, blinding him into the dark.was he going to die?He thought to himself as hours continued to pass.Before he knew it, Riku awoke to find himself at the place where he and Zanzura where fighting.Riku searched around to find Zanzura, but only saw an unconscious person with long, mid-night dark hair, lying on the ground, he knew the person was badly hurt.Riku rushed and turned the weak and limp person over and was shocked he opened his eyes.They were a bright teal color, it was like an older version of the little boy he saw."Zan...Zura?"Riku said softly, just as he quickly opened the palm of his hand where he found that the Blood-red jewel shining in his hands..
