-Abyssal Rose:A Beautiful Mistake-
The sound of blood spilling was echoing through the icy darkness as snow continued to fall peacefully through the night. A splash of blood covered Riku's face as he slowly opened his eyes. He saw Khani's shocked expression facing a figure that had covered Riku's body. With dark-red beads of blood dripping on the snow, staining it with a deep red hue, a mere echo came from his voice. " ...X-xion.... " Riku's reaction was exactly like those of Khani's. Xion had thrown her own body in between the two to prevent any harm from befalling on her friend. Of all people, she wanted to protect Riku. Xion's vision became frigged and after a few short seconds, she collapsed without saying a word. Khani quickly rushed over to catch the girl's falling body and managed to succeed right before she hit the ground. " ...No... "He grabbed the hilt of the blade, carefully, removing it from the girl's fragile body. Riku finally regained enough strength to move once again, as he came closer to the pair, he heard Khani's faint whisper. " ..I'm sorry...If only I knew....She wanted to see you..but I- ", A sharp pain shot from his face, through his body as Riku had delivered a critical blow with a clinched fist. Khani remained silent and composed, with eyes that had seem to have lost all hope. Riku's eyes narrowed and he raised his voice. " It doesn't matter right now! We've gotta get help! " Seeing Riku's sudden concern caused Khani to widen his silver eyes. " ... " If we just sit here, she'll be gone! You don't want that!DO YOU?! " Khani then stood up and nodded. " ...Alright. " Riku smiled and returned a gesture. " Let's go! " Right when he was about to take a step, both Riku and Khani froze from a sudden spike of reiatsu. Even the falling snow degraded from the reiatsu's presence. The two turned to see who or what terror hide behind them. A tall man with hair the color of the moon with green eyes, dressed with mid-night stood behind them. There was nothing that was able to comprehend the fear they both felt. The silence was shattered by Khani's overwhelmed voice, as the words, were nothing more than the wind's howl. " ......Father.... "
