P e r s o n a l i t y :
- Asche is quiet and distant from all the people around him. He is confident in himself, but not arrogant. He seems fairly calloused to any tragedy or evil that happens around him, but will do what he can to stop it from happening. He has been described as smooth, cool, and righteous, although him might disagree wit the righteous half. Of course, that's to the people who don't know him.
In reality, Asche is a sort of heroic spazz, who loves protect others and save the day. He's quite naive at times, but he quickly remembers were that naivety leads to. It's hard for him to hold a grudge against people, unless they have done the people he loves wrong.
B a c k g r o u n d :
- Although Asche grew up in the Elite Four's home in Ever Grande, he hated the place. His parents didn't care about him, or so he felt, and everywhere he went he only felt ostracized. He left that place when he turned sixteen and went to Kanto with his faithful Murkrow, Crest, which he caught as a young ten year old. He joined up with Team Rocket when Giovanni was still its leader, during his visit to Kanto, and never came home again.
His experiences within Team Rocket were nothing but unpleasant. Rocket was more ruthless than he thought they could have been, beating members of their own team for failing missions. Asche still has many scars on his body to prove their violence. He was weak when he joined Team Rocket, but they molded him into a seasoned fighter with a callous and cool attitude. It wasn't until he was twenty four and was forced to kill a young couple who had caused a lot of trouble for Team Rocket that he decided he could no longer continue to follow Team Rocket. He took the pokemon he had easily fought off, the young couple's Hoppip with him, swearing to raise it for something better.
He ran away from Kanto immediately following the encounter, moving back back to Hoenn and hiding out in Fortree City to keep away from anyone looking for him. He'd been living there until he was twenty-eight, when the last Gym Leader died. No one in Fortree was strong enough to take the position, so Asche tentatively took the position. He has always insisted he would yield the position to the first trainer that beat him, but so far no one has managed it that would take the position.
It was during his few years as Gym Leader in Fortree that he met the Normal-Type gym Leader, Jenny. Well, it was a strange meeting none the less, but it didn't take long for him to become smitten with her. She was hot-headed, strong, and well, everything he'd ever wanted for some reason. Of course, Asche courted Jenny, and the two had a happy little love-life for a bit. He proposed to her after only a year, and the two were happily married. After a small incident with Team Aqua and Magma, Asche decided it would be best if they moved back to the Johto region. However, Asche needed a job.
Of course, that was when he got a call from Violet City, saying that the former Gym Leader had mysteriously vanished, and they needed a new leader. He packed his things up with Jenny and moved back to Violet City. He worked there for a few years, and before he knew it, he had twins and his life had become incredibly hectic. Of course, there was drama with a New Team Rocket leader, but after Team Rocket was once again put down, Jenny convinced him to move back to Hoenn.
They did, and of course, it wasn't much longer that his kids decided they wanted to be coodinators and left the house to pursue their dream. Since then, Asche has joined the Elite Four, while Jenny has remained retired. He has continually tried to get her to join the Elite Four, though she keeps telling him that no one could ever get past the Elite Four if they were both in it.
