P e r s o n a l i t y :
- Johanna is nothing less than neurotic. She has anxiety problems, she has social issues, and a whole slew of phobias to bat. She's anti-social to the point where she will only speak to her brother, Mewtwo, and Blissey. Those are the only people she's ever spoken to, or intends to speak to. She rarely acknowledges other people's existence, and cares very little for the people around her. She is selfish, almost arrogant, and easily frightened. She has clinical phobias of darkness, pain, people, clowns, and death. She has been diagnosed with various other mental problems, but in the end, Johanna is a shut-in. She rarely leaves her home, and spends most of her time reading. She is incredibly intelligent, and whether she chooses to share this intelligence or not, is up to her. She devours knowledge, and loves more than anything to learn.
B a c k g r o u n d :
- Johanna was born only a few seconds after her brother, Sebastion, into what can only be described by her as a nightmare. She claims she is the smarter of the two, for coming into hell second.
Her childhood, was frightful. Before anyone knew it, she found herself causing strange things to happen when she was angry or excited. No one else noticed it, but fearing judgment from her peers, she kept it as silent as possible. She followed her brother out of the house, wanting to escape from those nightmares with her mother. She hated her mother, and blamed that woman for giving Johanna all of her mental diseases.
However, she could no longer blame it on her mother during an incident at a friend's house. She accidentally, sort of, blew up the bathroom when she was told she had to leave right away. She had gotten too upset, and after that, it was all over. She stopped speaking to other people entirely. They scared her. She didn't like how they treated her.
Of course, the next incident occurred during a brief visit to their original hellish home in Celadon. Their mother tried to hurt her, but when she opened her eyes, she saw her brother being hurt instead. He told her to run, but she couldn't move. Like a deer in headlights, she watched until her brother lost consciousness and was throw to the floor. That's when it happen. An anger she'd never known before sprung forth, and like the ground had cracked open and unleashed hell itself, the glasses shattered and her mother exploded into bits and pieces of flesh and blood. Next it was the house, which quickly caught flames. Johanna could do nothing but sit there and cry, moving herself to her brother's side and awaiting his awakening.
When he did awake, he was like a new man. Her savior. He picked her up and they left that place forever. Instead, they moved to a new region, and he stole, hanging with something called Team Rocket for a time. She stayed in their small apartment and read, and studied. She would practice on controlling her powers, and in the end, do her best to suppress them. It was a boring life, but she enjoyed that mundane life.
Before she knew it, they were in Goldenroad, where she did her best to hone her powers. To work on hearing other's thoughts, and even moving things with her mind gingerly for a time. She kept the explosive outbursts to a minimum. It was here that her brother began speaking of a pokemon called Mewtwo, and how it could help her control her powers.
Johanna had quickly agreed, that if this pokemon could help her control that anger, that he would be the perfect mentor. It was only the question of contacting him. It took a long time. There was so much preparation for her, but eventually, she did it. She heard him after calling out for his aid, and she heard him response calmly for who called him out.
She was so happy, she had caused another small explosion in her home, but it didn't matter. She begged for his aid to help her control her powers, and to help her brother. They had been nothing, but they wanted to be something. They wanted to make a difference. It was a long time before Mewtwo called back to her, offering his aid to the girl, and then he appeared. He was the most beautiful creature that Johanna had ever seen, and she cherished him from the moment he appeared.
When her brother saw him too, he was overjoyed. They had succeeded, and now Mewtwo would help them create a better place. A good world. Mewtwo insisted on two conditions. That he would not have to kill anything or anyone he did not want to, and that he might leave when he felt the time was right. Of course, Johanna agreed, as did Sebastion, and there was happiness in her life for once in a long time. True happiness.
They found themselves back in Celadon, the perfect first training for her. While her brother brought the rockets back together, Mewtwo aided her to overcome her fear of the past, of killing her mother. She managed to make it through without killing anyone else, or any further explosions, and as time passed, she grew to depend on him and love him like another brother.
Now, her brother speaks of finding others like Mewtwo, and she has asked Mewtwo his opinions on the matter. He says he will stay for yet awhile longer, and Johanna fears for his departure day.
