Yesterday while I was Journal lurking, I happened to read a dream journal, of sorts. This person posted her dreams, and some of them were pretty crazy (and she knew it). So I thought that was a cool idea. Alas, I rarely have weird dreams. I thought, "If only I had a crazy dream, I'd post it so that my friends could laugh at me. That, or stop being my friends." xd Anyway, sure enough, yesterday night I had a crazy dream. So here it is. Be warned.
My Crazy Dream
Let's see...all the stuff in my dream will be in blue. Any notes (ie. pertaining to real life) will be in black. No, this dream did not make sense to me, so I highly doubt it will make sense to anyone who happens to read this. Here we go.
I look at my watch. Seven minutes until Statistics class. OK, I'm already in the building, so I just have to get to the right classroom. Where is it again? Ah. I'm in a large hotel. It must be 20 stories high. Well then, where's my classroom? I've been there before a few times. I should know it when I see it. [No, I do not go to school in a hotel in real life. XD] There's several people milling about. They seem to be heading to the right corridor. I follow them.
A few of the people start heading toward a flight of stairs, so I climb them, too. But nothing is looking familiar. I climb another flight of stairs. Still no classroom. Grumbling, I take out my class schedule from my backpack. It says room 5666. Wait a minute! I'm on Floor 8. 5666 is on Floor 5. How did I get to Floor 8? I only climbed a few flight of stairs.
I head toward the elevator to go down to the 5th floor. I squeeze in between some people that look vaguely familiar. They went to school with me in high school, but they don't go to school here. Odd. I reach out to press the elevator button, but I see that the '5' elevator button is already pressed, and is outlined in red light. I retract my hand. Finally I get to the 5th floor and exit the elevator.
By this time, I'm getting worried that I'll be late for class. So I ask the concession stand operator, like the ones you see in fancy theatres. He's wearing a black vest and everything and is selling popcorn and softdrinks. Wasn't this a hotel? Guess not anymore. I ask him where my classroom is, and he gestures to the left corridor. I follow it, and get to a set of doors that look like they lead out to the balcony seats of a theatre. This doesn't look familiar. But wait! Over the doors is a dark blue sign with white lettering. It says "Statistics". I guess this is it. XD
I open the doors to the classroom...and step into a giftstore. It's filled with bright fluorescent lights and things like stuffed animals and other things you find in giftstores. Behind me is my father. He wasn't following me to my classroom, but all of a sudden he is here. I am surprised by none of this. My father is holding a puppy in his arms. The puppy has button black eyes and white curly hair. My dad and I go toward the cashier. The cashier happens to be my Zoology professor. He's dressed up in a dark blue visor and vest, like any employee. We go up to pay for an item. [Why is my Zoology professor in my dream when I was looking for my Statistics classroom? Don't ask me. And I don't think I actually saw this item in my dream. I have no idea what it was. O_o] My dad reaches into his pocket and pulls out some change and two chocolate wafers. In my dream, chocolate wafers = money. [ eek ] The cashier/professor tallies up the bill to something like $ 24.28. My dad leaves me to pay the bill. However, I can't remember the conversion rate from chocolate wafers into money. I ask my dad "How much is two chocolate wafers in dollars again?" My dad won't answer me and plays dumb. I sigh. He's doing this so I have to figure it out for myself, and not rely on him. "Fine," I say, "Can you give me the conversion chart?" My dad takes out of his pocket a cardboard and plastic box. Like the ones dolls or action figures come in, with cardboard backing and a plastic covering. The box is broken, but on the back is some writing that tells me 1 chocolate wafer = $ 10. All right. Now I can pay the bill. I quickly write down some calculations on a slip of paper, add some change, and hand the wafers and money to the cashier. He looks at me a little puzzled, and says, "Can you do that again? I'm not sure if I followed your calculations." So I start explaining it to him. It's something really simple, like "2 Chocolate wafers * $ 10 = $ 20. $ 24.28 - $ 20 = $ 4.28." So I explain to him that's why I handed him $ 4.28 in change.
Then my alarm starts beeping and I wake up. And that's the craziest dream I've had in awhile. xd Feel free to comment on how not-crazy this dream is compared to yours. whee
Gaian News
I opened my September Letters and got both Banis and Gotis. I have yet to wear them, though. I haven't seen anyone with Bunny Slippers wearing Banis. Though I'm sure someone's already thought of that. whee I want to see how well it goes together.
I'm also thinking of ideas for a Halloween outfit. I have a few Jacked Up items, but not the whole set. Besides, I want to come up with a completely original idea. wink I'll probably wear my Jacked Up stuff in October, then change into my costume nearer to the end of the month.
The Bank is working again! But I cancelled one of my trades since the user I was trading with wouldn't respond to my PMs since she wasn't confirming or cancelling the trade. And I know she read my PMs. That's the difference between "Outbox" and "Sentbox", right? Outbox shows you the mail you sent but hasn't been read yet. And Sentbox shows you the PMs you sent that have been read? I think so. sweatdrop
Stylin'
I forgot to mention this yesterday. Maybe because I was sick. Since I'm feeling better today, I'll write about it.
I was walking home from school yesterday. I noticed a guy walking with his friends in front of me. He was wearing a black baseball cap turned backwards, a over-sized black t-shirt with white trimming around the sleeves and neck, and baggy black shorts that reached his knees. On his feet were white sneakers with pink trimming and pink stars. He was wearing a drawstring bag on his back. It was a Nike bag, with the white trademark 'swoosh' on the pink bag. In his hand was a pink bandana. It was approximately this shade of pink. . I hardly see males wearing pink. Some of my teachers wore pink ties, and looked rather distinguished, but not like this. All of his pinks were exactly the same shade. It worked very well with the white and black. I've never seen someone match that much in real life so perfectly. xd
Quote of the Day
Quote: Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly.
I know I won't remember to put in a quote every day. sweatdrop Oh well. I feel like writing a lot more, but I'm going to cut it short because of my long dream. xp Too bad yesterday's journal was so boring. I guess I'll save it for tomorrow's entry. xd Until then.
