Title: I lay here

I lay here early in the morning; I lay here late at night,
Wishing that you could be at my side.
Just wishing that you could be here with me.

My bed is just too big for just me,
It just reminds me how far away you are.
I know for now that this is how it has to be,
It just sucks that we have to be apart.

I lay here thinking of you,
Hoping that you're okay, hoping that we can be together soon.
I lay here thinking of things that we could do,
I lay here thinking of things you say, thinking of things you say you want to do.

Early in the mornings, late at night, I lay here thinking of you,
Thinking of how far apart we are,
Thinking of things we could do,
But that won't probably happen soon,
So for now we have to be apart,
But we are still close, because we have each other in our hearts.
