Posted in the Animal: Why do they need respect?
Animals need the respect to breed. If we just kept slaughtering every single one of them, not allowing them to breed for more, then we'd have no edible animals left on the earth which the only resource on earth would be vegetation or other human beings, if you really hate eating your greens. So in other words, we are exactly like them. We do not have ownership of their actions, feelings, or emotions even if we do own them by a contract. It's like taking another human and saying "I own you know and you must abide by anything I say. You cannot react if I punish you for no such reason but my own pleasure." now isn't it?
--> Okay, okay. I don't know what the heck I'm saying or if you agree with me because I may have gotten a little off topic. I'm just a 13 year girl ranting about animal rights and abuse. Agree to disagree. I don't really care. All I'm saying is just abide by the golden rule. "Treat others as you want to be treated." meaning animals to because we are also one.
