I really liked this intro post for an rp that I did, so I'm posting it. xd

 She sat and waited. Waited for the light to come. She knew it would happen soon, but when? She looked around at the darkness and sighed. How long had she been there? Her sense of time was almost always off by an hour at least, so she wasn't sure. Hours? Days? Years?
.... Centuries?
She shivered at that thought. Then thought again.
How was she able to think? She knew what had happened was real so how did she remain the same...?
She sat and waited. Waited for the light to come, but all she saw was darkness. The faint outlines of where she was indicated a room, but where?
Her room? Another part of her house?
No, she should know better. She's not home any more.
She hadn't been home since that day....
So she sat and waited.
Waited for the light.
