Today was the first day of the fair. Opened at 3:00pm, It was free today. My mom put make-up on me, Blush, mascara, eyeshadow and lip gloss. My hair was straighten. Charles loved it. I put on my Black shirt with a white and black vest. Some jeans. Charles dressed in a red button up long sleeve. His hair slick back and some jeans. He looked great. It was My mom, grandma, Charles and me. It was 95 degrees outside so it was hot when we first got there. We went to a BBQ place, had hot dogs and burgers. I got a burger with fries. Charles wasn't hungry so he just drank some of my soda. My mom and grandma sat together by the Budweiser stand as me and Charles headed over to the exhibits and seen the cool things inside. We got a sample for cookies, looked at some cool stuff, and Charles bought me a jewelry cleaner. He's so sweet. We seen an Asian guy that drew awesome drawings! He even had The Phantom from POTO and I wanted it! Charles wanted a Tifa and Link.

We left after like 30 minutes and went to the art exhibit, while we were looking at the art the lights went off in there and we had to leave. It was funny and messed up at the same time. So we decided to go and buy our wrist bands now. They were 30 bucks!! Sheesh they were expensive this year. I remember them being 15 dollars. Charles friend Zuleima called and told Charles she was there with his/her friends. We met up with them and they told us that they didn't have enough for wristbands. So Charles let them borrow 35 dollars so they can all get a wristband. Charles wanted to go on the Gravitron first, that spun the heck outta us. It hurt to move. the fun house was second, lots of spinning and moving. Made me dizzy. lol. We then got in the haunted house which was not scary whatsoever. If anything it was hilarious, broken cardboard popping up everywhere. It was lame. I screamed, pretending to be scared. lol. We then went on this small ride that just spun in circles, I got in my own cart and Charles got on another one and everytime we would come together he would say "hi corrina!!" I thought it was funny. There was a new ride, Pirate it was called and it was a pirate ship that swung high back and forth. Charles didn't like that too much, the feeling of going down, but I love that feeling for some reason. lol.

the Tornado was the one we got on that was across from it. It was about to be 6pm and it was almost time for the parade which I never knew they had on the first day of the fair. It was my first time seeing it. It was cool! There were old cars and trucks, an old fire truck from 1982. There were the BHS cheerleaders, and the best of course... FHS Band! Michael (Charles brother) was in the front playing the flute. He did good, and they all looked nice. Hehe, Charles yelled "I love you Michael!!" And he smiled, when they were all supposed to be serious. lol. After the long parade line Charles and me ran across to the photo booths. We took some black and white photos that came out cute. 4 of them in a strip. After that Charles needed to take a break so we walked over to the food stands and him being his cute little indecisive self didn't know if he wanted chinese or a hotdog. Finally he decided after like 4 minutes, to get Chinese. With an eggroll on a stick which tasted awesome! The rice and noodles didn't look that great but they were tasty! We both ate it all. I was so happy just sitting there eating with him. My mom called and told us that they were at the bleachers where they were singing some mexican music.

So I went to the restroom and came out, Della got there and we went to meet up with her in the Art Exhibit. She was wearing a vest like mine. She looked cute. We went with her to get a wristband and we headed back to the rides. We went on the viper and the pole position which gives you whiplash, and into another fun house. Then the spinning one Charles and I got on earlier, and he sat with her and I had my own cart. I realized I lost one of my favorite earrings on that ride, it wasn't too bad because they were hannah montana star earrings.. still. lol. We got on the bumper cars that Charles wanted to get on all day, and I rammed into everyone, especially Charles. lol.

I seen Joe joe's dad there as we walked with a woman that he cheated on my grandma with. She looked like 30 years younger than him.. nasty. I think he recognized me and I just went around. We got on the ferris wheel, just Charles and me. It was beautiful to see up high. It was romantic. He looked so sweet sitting across from me. We got off and Della consumed a hotdog. There was a carousel and della and I went to it, I always wanted to get on the dragon. Della finally got it for me! I was soo happy! Charles took a picture of me on it, we got on another time and I rode a cat. Charles was at a table not feeling so well. We went to him and he layed there a while. Charles Della and I walked to the other side of the fair and went to the place where my mom and grandma was.

I danced with my grandma on the dance floor outside as mexican music was playing, then I dragged Charles with me to dance, he was so cute all blushing and smiling, I danced with him anyway. After 2 songs we left and saw a new kids ride called Neverland. Had 2 pictures of michael jackson. We took some pictures with it. I then got on the Fire Ball and there was a little boy with me that kept talking so he wasn't scared. I talked him through it, Della and Charles were scared for me but I loved it and nothing happened. We walked around a lot, looking at different games and shops, and Charles bought a snow cone for us to share. I seen a safari place to take pictures and Charles and me took a picture with both of us on a Panda. It was so cute.

He's been wanting a funnel cake all day, he had never had one, so we walked over to the funnel cake place, it closed so we had to walk to another one, Della just bought a powered sugar one, and Charles loved it! He ate most of it. lol. Well by now the fair was closing so we walked towards the entrance, where my mom and grandma were waiting and went to our car which was the closest it's ever been to us! We rode home, dropped off Charles and then Della. It was a great day. My boyfriend was so sweet and I loved going to the fair with him, since he was in North dakota last year I didn't get to go with him, and we are also going next week so that will be fun! Again!
