Yume was born from a Celestial being father and a Dark Elf mother. THeir forbidden love was torn apart by the war between the two races. She was born into the world of refugees and was cared for by her Aunt, Mari.
Yume lived in a small village with Mari and her cousin Yumi for until she was 14, when she set off on a journey with 'Mallow', who turned out to be the runaway Princess Klavier Pandora.
Yume was the care-taker of the sacred temple in her town and protected the symbol.
She is a bit dense and does not notice the feelings of other's around her as well as she should. Her dense brain shows that she is a pure and innocent soul, but can be easily swayed by the actions of those around her.
Yume wants to end the fight between the Dark Elves and Celestial Beings by showing them that she was created by both races; she thinks it will convice them that peace can be made between them.
She is pure and innocent by heart, but too dense to even notice that Natsu and Shinji (two boy elves) are thriving for her attention.
