Shrouded in black, the mysterious bird creeps to the edge of the sky. It peeps down at the world beneath its feet, shivering a little. A flutter of wings reveals a glowing orange light as it plummets to the ground below, announcing the arrival of dawn. I sit by and drink a cup of black coffee.

It Was No Challenge! Thank you for all 1 of your wonderful suggestions! Alas, I did not use any of them. I chose to write about Karate, and it sounded like it came out of my butt. Srsly, it was pretty bad. Better than most of the other kids in my class though, which I'm relieved about. Sigh. I won't be on much this weekend, though my brain screams for me to write D;

I may be late on getting your present to you, but you'll get it eventually. I thought I was gonna be in town this weekend, and I was just going to give it to Liz to bring to you, but it looks like I may not be able to make it into town. Next weekend looks promising though, so keep an eye out.
