Alright, so I joined this new online game. It's a free MMO, just like Perfect World, Dream of Mirror, Megaten. But unlike other free MMOs' this is quality stuff. Other MMOs were like "Ya, I'm playing with my friend... Ya... Woo..." But this one just feels... I dunno... It feels right. Perfect World was too boring. Everything looked the same. Megaten, if you werent a gunner, you couldnt play at all, Dream of Mirror was alright, but it was a lazy person's MMO. You could click on the map, and it would auto walk you to that position, and actually tell you when you arrived if you had the window minamized.
So anyways, Requiem is a strange MMO. It's supposed to be Horror based. It isnt really that scary, but the concept is. The demons and monsters are like... Fetuses, mangled corpses, and weird a** mutated stuff. The races and classes are cool, too. But anyways, this is supposed to be a rant. The game is rated M for Blood, Gore, Sexual Themes, Intense Violence, and partial nudity.
This is my idea of Mature games. You dont HAVe to be 17+ to play them. You just HAVE to be mature about it. I'm not saying a 12 year old should play, but really, you need to actually be mature to play a mature game. If you hear the word "p***s" in a game, and then run around all day going "Penispenispenispenis" even though you're 17 years old or something, you shouldnt be playing this game. Sad to say, thats all the types of people who play the game are. Hell, today a guild was formed called "Zombie ********". Right. That right there says "This guild is filled with 7-12 year olds" And al the kids that I saw in public chat in that guild swore every second word. The problem is with people is swearing is a privelege, not a gimme. In 2 seconds, mods could delete that group, and ban every account in it, just for being retarded and swearing too much. Just cause the NPCs may swear possibly once in a blue moon doesnt mean the players should walk around thinking they're some white a** gangster b***h who can get away with swearing. Quite a few times I flat out ignored them, even though I was staring right at them. It was like "What the ********? Hit ******** enter to ******** say something ********" (And no, that wasnt an exaduration. Someone said that exact thing to me, so I just walked away) He followed me for a bit till I entered an area that was too high of a level for him and he died. It's just so lame. I dont want 12 year olds in my Mature RPG. Oh god, and the names. Sephiroth. Seffiroth. Sefroth. Sephyroth. And it goes on and on. Another was RufusOfShinra. So LAAAAME. Keep your dumbass Final Fantasy characters out of my Horror MMO.
