WTF Gaia? Why would you release these... Abominations? I remeber back in the day, Cool things like that Lionfish tail and all that were pretty much monthly collectables. They made a difference. They looked cool. Now what? I can be a tree (Actually, that one isnt bad at all. It's actually pretty functional and pretty) but the... Techno-Mage... What a piece of s**t that is. I'm sorry if people enjoy it, but back then, I saw every collectable and was like "omg! Pretty!" or "I'm gonna get that" Now, though... I take a look, and nothing strikes me as fancy anymore. Technomage gives you
A) An Ugly helmet
B) an Ugly helmet with glow
C) An eye lense that doesnt really fit well with your avi's head
D) A Gun
E) A Staff (For god sakes, I can use one of the 100 staffs in Gaia. Why is this one special?)
F) A backpack that you cant see unless you turn around
I know Gaia has the Cash shop now, so they're getting an increased cash flow, and I guess the Evolving Items are way better than the MCs, but seriously, people used to worship the MCs. They were cheap ($2.50) and functional. Now I see Evolving Items worth $9.99, and you arent garaunteed if it'll be good or not. For all we know, the artists for it might all have a heart attack or something, die, and the item is never completed. Far fetched, I know, but do I wanna pay $10.00 for an item that I dont know what it'll become. For another example. Titan's Legacy is a SLOW evolving Item. It doesnt say anywhere that it's on it's last evolution (The cape thing) but if the artists werent indapendent from Gaia, I'd think that they'd sell that thing for $6 or something, and so far, I'm not really impressed with it (Thats not saying much, though, as I dont think it's even close to finishing (I hope))
Needless to say, Gaia is milking money off of the Evolutions and seriously neglecting the MCs. If I could make a graph, the MCs would start out low, raise up, and up, and up, then drop like a rock when the Evolutions came out in Quality. Oooh, look out, it's a Demonic tail, or a Demonic Headband, or an Angelic Headband. Then they started getting more interesting. Now what do we have? Crap Technomage stuff, Dragon Ball powers, and... What the hell was last month? Oh ya... A Hoody and a hammer that became a guitar or something. Remember the Alien space ship? That thing was done right. Everyone wanted one. Now I look on the forums, and there's barely a word on the MCs anymore.
