Chapter 2
In stepped 5 boys and 4 girls. All of them with lowered heads walked to the front of the class. Their facial expressions looked liked they had all lost their only friend.
One male looked up and locked eyes with me. His eyes turned a crimson red. I gasped and quickly looked away. Trinity grabbed my hand reassuringly.
“These students are from the Black Sephria Boarding School. They are the vampires that will be joining us this year,” Sage said.
The group looked up. All of their eyes were a bright red. Their eyes made contact with all the humans in the classroom. Sage growled and regained control of the room. She closed her eyes and all the intensity of the room faded.
“Do not forget that I am the one who is in charge here,” she started, “Go to your classes immediately!”
They hesitated, but walked out of the room. Sage moved towards the front of the class. She bowed deeply.
“I’m truly sorry. I grantee that something will be done about their behavior,”
Everyone murmured to themselves. Class continued as usual. The bell rang and Sage dismissed us. As soon as I walked into the corridor, he was there.
Trinity stood beside me. He smiled and tapped my shoulder.
“His name is Aiden, from the royal family of vampires,”
“I really don’t care who he is as long as he stays away from me,”
Jenna ran up to us. Her face was paler than usual and beads of sweat were formed around her elegant face. She grabbed me roughly by the shoulders.
“They put up the dorm assignments!”
“And?”
She grabbed my hand ran to 600 hall, on the other side of the building. There was giant mass of people standing around screaming and talking.
I caught my breath and turned to Jenna, “Why don’t you have some magical broom or something?”
“Do I look like something out of the Wizard of Oz to you?”
I rolled my eyes and pushed myself through the crowd. Posted on the wall were two large posters. The names of the people who already had their dorms were put in alphabetical order. Written beside their names were their new roommates.
I took my index finger and looked for my name. Next to my name in bright red were three names: Aiden, Chaz, and Clyde. I nearly fainted into the arms of the crowd.
Jenna caught up with me and held me close. She whispered a chant and we ended up in her dorm room. She guided me over to her bed and we sat down together.
“I have three guys in my room.”
She nodded and smiled, “We are just down the hallway,”
I pushed her roughly off of me. I stared at the ground. I stood up slowly and walked toward the door.
“I’m going to talk to the dean about this,”
“Let me go with you. I don’t want you to attempt to murder the poor man,”
I swore under my breath and walked down the hallway.
“You’re going to need more than just your witchcraft to stop me, Jenna. Just a warning,”
