Imagine that it's early in the morning, and you just woke up. It's the start of a wonderful, brand new, super, duper, worthy-of-a-made-up-word-uper day. The sun is radiantly glowing through the bedroom windows, and the outside birds are chirping with glee (the perfect ratio of chirping to where it's not annoying). You get out of bed, slide on your slippers, and head out to the driveway to get the local newspaper. Lo and behold, you find two pipe bombs in your front lawn... What do you do?
In Hempstead, New York, an idiotic bus driver demonstrated the worst thing that you could possibly do... She chose to personally deliver the two bombs to police instead of waiting for help. Sources say the woman wrapped the devices in blankets before tossing them into her empty school bus and heading to the nearest police station. Along the way, she contacted authorities via cellphone and exclaimed, "I have a school bus filled with explosives!"
Wow. What the hell? I wonder if stupid people know that they're stupid. I mean, do idiots have the brain capacity to recognize that they don't have the brain capacity? Gosh, that lady could have killed someone. And sadly, she's probably done something like this before. Why else would a bomber try to blow up her house? He was clearly trying to save the world from her de-not-live-ry service. If she had found something like the Swine Flu in her lawn, we'd all be oinking by now.
And maybe it's just me, but when faced with a bomb, I'd probably take shelter behind some type of metal armor or steel plate. I wouldn't, however, wrap it up in a warm fleece blanket. I mean, come on, she fricken' tucked it in. What the hell was she trying to do? Did she think that she could prevent it from igniting if she let it take a nappy-poo? I suppose it could have worked if she had some sort of special blanket from the future... yeah, maybe if she had a Snuggie.
Anyway, in the end, the woman was not arrested. She did, however, lose her job. Now-a-days, you may spot her on the highway with Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock, trying to stay above 50 miles per hour.
