21 day of the Month of Blood
Dark Elf Sanctuary and Tavern
Many strange things have been happening here, and I am starting to wonder what is real and what is my dreams. Fantastical things and Horrorific things and happy things... yet I am getting ahead of myself. I will start at the beginning. I should probably mention that, for thoes who are reading this and do not already know, in the course of these events I discovered my true name. Before these happenings, I was known as Katana Mor'loki
I suppose the tavern has always been a little...different... from the other places I had been, but that was part of its charm. For me, the strange things began quite a few months ago, in the Month of the Moon.
I'm not sure why I went to that forest to begin with. I think it was because I was bored and tired of sitting around... what a mistake it was. Maybe I was hoping to run into Alaki, my dragon. He tends to inhabit the forests around the Tavern, or else the surrounding mountains. In any event, I fell asleep and had one of the oddest, most vivid dreams I had ever had.
A young dark elf boy lay on the ground, a three pronged dagger holding him there by his throat. His all-black eyes stared blankly at a sky that was almost as dark as they were. I looked down at my hands through my tears to find that the were convred in blood. The boy's blood, I knew...my brother's blood. The ground was red with it, absorbing the color. It began to rain. But no, impossible... the rain likewise was also his blood, shed in vain to keep me alive. I was drenched in it, and I stared in horror as Kyto's blood dripped from the trees and plants. She rocked back on her heels and backed away slowly, oh so slowly, from the body of Kyto as the blood-rain fell from the almost-black clouds.
The boy's head suddenly shot up, craning up from the ground. Blank eyes searched and found my own black ones, freezing me where I stood.
"Hermana..." he croaked in a loud, harsh, deadly whisper. It sent chills up my spine. It frightened me not only because it was coming from Kyto's body, the voice was also his. To a 't'. "Sister...Seimian..." It siad, dragging her name out until each syllabal lasted nearly two seconds. She stared, eyes wide with disbelief and horror.
"Why did you leave? Why didn't you come back for me?" I could not speak. "I get very lonely out here, Seimian. I'm so glad you came to play." The face of Kyto contorted into an evil grin. "Why didn't you save me? You could have. And then, leaving me here? I am in such pain, Seimian, The pain of eternal hell, and it is ALL YOUR FAULT." I took a faltering step backwards, and fell to a sitting position. "N-no..."
"YES"
"N-no.. not... not possible. You're... you're dead. Dead, Kyto...this can't be happening... this isn't happen-"
"It IS happening, hermana. And its all your fault. You're to blame. Did you think that I would just lie still and obedient, play DEAD, while you went on your merry way, had fun, forgot about me? Welcome to my play! I do hope you have some fun!" Kyto cacled and ravens poured forth from his mouth, and flew at me, pecking at my blood-covered form like voltures would a cadaver. Ripping at my hair, clawing at my eyes. I tried to fight back, but was unsucessful. They swarmed and, for every one she struck down, two appeared in its place. I screamed in pain, but Kyto's wild laugh could be heard over my own sounds.
I sat up screaming and clutching at my face in the middle of a forest somewhere. At that moment I didn't know where, and wasn't sane enough to try to figure it out. Several small cuts and long gashes (caused by my own wild thrashings, I later came to realize) adorned my arms and face- evidenve of my 'fight' with the ravens. And my hands... oh god. They were stained with the same blood from my 'dream'. But I didn't know it had only been a dream.
Breathing in quick, shallow, quaking breaths, I glanced around myself fearfully. Tears ran down my cheeks unchecked, causing open wounds sting with salt, but I didn't notice. I drew my knees to my chest and wrapped my arms around them, hiding my chin behind that. I rocked back and forth, the maniacial laughter ringing in her ears. Red eyes wild with fear darted around sporadically, and she shook. I jumped like I had been Tasered and whimpered, biting back a scream, at every sound. Though I couldn't hear any of the little sounds, like leaves or elven footsteps, over my own sounds.

A walk in my geta
To steal a phrase from one of my friends, this is Mostly Lovely Randomness.
So how does it feel to know that someone's kid in the heart of America
Has blood on their hands, fighting to defend your rights
So you can maintain the lifestyle that insults his family's existence
Well, where I'm from we have a special salute we aim high in the air
Towards all the pompous assholes who spend their days pointing ******** you!
