“Twilight” Madness!!

Yeah, yeah. We’re all very upset that most of the 2008 movie based on the Best Selling Novel “Twilight” By Stephanie Meyer was not set in the BEAUTIFUL Forks, WA but mostly in Oregon. But that doesn’t set apart from the fact that the whole town has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Washington State. There’s always the fans that scream at the sight of the Edward Cullen cutouts but there are also the one’s that are passionate about the whole ordeal. At the Forks Community Hospital they have a special reserved parking space for the one who made the “Vegetarian” vampires we know and love, Dr. Carlisle Cullen. At the Forks Visitor Center they have Bella’s old, dull orange Chevy Truck (There’s a mystery bullet hole in the back window, SPOOKY!)
The one place you’ll have to stop by is “Dazzled By Twilight” the little boutique that was made just for Forks; it has everything you could ever want. Well, except for the Cullen’s in the flesh, haha. All of the restaurants in the town have specials for the movie; even down in La Push they have Jacob Black themed food. Near the edge of town, passed City Hall is the house that Stephanie envisioned as the Cullen home. It was definitely smaller then the one in the movie but you could definitely see the room in the second floor facing the road being Edward’s room.
The town definitely favored Bella, Edward, and Jacob so all the people that favored Jasper and Emmett over the others didn’t have much to be happy about but you can still have fun. Reading Esme’s note on the front door of the house, over spring break all the Cullen’s where down in Florida seeing Bella’s mom, hoping for rain and clouds so they could go outside.
As always all the girls from all over the world are hoping to catch a glimpse of the “Twilight” hottie Robert Pattinson, though they know well enough that he’s busy with the making of the sequel “New Moon”. During the time I myself had in Forks there was a petition in one of the General Stores, pleading that they continue to make the movies in Forks, not California or Oregon. That’s one thing I’m sure we’re all hoping for.
