Chapter 1

They jumped out of the portal and landed at the Palace entrance. As usual two guards were on each side of the door.
"Scy, you guys wait here and we'll be in soon."
Scy and the others nodded. They were still in human form, except for Sakura of course. Luna walked up to the guards and realized that they were new.
"Halt, who goes there?" one of them called.
"Peace, we dont mean any harm. I'm Luna and these. . ." Luna was cut of by one of the guards.
"Eek!! Is it really you? Are you really the famous Luna?!"
Famous, Luna thought, how am i famous?
"Mm, Luna whats going on?" asked Sakura.
"I dont really know, and one of the guards called me famous." Luna called over her shoulder. Aloud creaking noise caused her to jerk her head back to the guards and saw that the gate was opening. Kar started running towards the entrance and Luna stuck her out in front of him. She guessed that he didn't see it or something, she wont know. Kar tripped on her foot and flew head over heels into the dirt.
"What was that for?!" he growled while pushing himself off the dirt.
Luna stood next to him and whispered, "This is my domain and you would be wise to follow my orders, understand?"
Kar glared at her but nodded. Luna transformed into her wolf form and told the others to follow. Scy, Max, and KK was starring at what had happened between Kar and her. "You should close your mouthes before a bug flies into your mouth." cautioned Sakura. They closed their mouthes and ran after Sakura.
Kar decided to not get left behind and ran after them. Sakura and Luna padded side-by-side and the others walked behind. When they walked through the gates, KK suddenly screamed. Luna and Sakura turned around ready to attack whoever attacked KK. Instead they saw something that was just as suprising.
KK, Max, Scy, and Kar had turned into animals. KK was a white Siberian tiger, Max was a huge lion, Kar was a black fox with red paws, and Scy was a black panther. "W-whats going on here? W-why are we a-animals?" KK whimpered. Luna was stunned. For a skilled fighter, she must freak out alot, thought Luna. "KK, calm down. It must happen to evry human that comes here." said Scy, trying to soothe her. Sakura and Luna exchange looks. "Um, Scy I'm afraid that this is the first time we've brought visitors from the realm of the living." said Sakura. Luna nodded.
"Will we be stuck like this?" asked Kar. Luna shook her head, but before they could breath a sigh of relief, "But, I'm not really sure. We're going to try something. We need you to concentrate though. Picture your human selves, but add the ears of the animal you are; don't forget the tail." she said hurriedly. They nodded and closed their eyes. Each one was surrounded by a different colored light: KK was hit by a white light, Scy and Max by a blue light, and Kar by a red light. When the lights disappeared, they had turned back into their human selves plus animal ears and tails.
