So. Yesterday Gaia turned 6! Happy Birthday smile
I didn't notice much about a celebration going on, but that's mostly because I was busy doing other things. And just like every night, I called my boyfriend to talk to him for a while before falling asleep... Which is when he told me his great-grandma had died. I was so shocked when he told me that, because I'd only seen her a little more than a week before. We'd brought her some food to the nursing home she'd been living in and helped organize her clothes since she was almost blind and couldn't really tell which bottom went with what top. So I reorganized part of her closet... Who would have thought that was the last time I'd ever see her?
Made me cry all day today. I still feel horrible, but I hope my boyfriend will let me go to the funeral. It just wouldn't feel right if I didn't.
