Joey "Jay" Brooks
This is another character from the Galaxy Wars Roleplay I participate in. Joey is actually Alanna-Mae's (A.K.A Anna Brooks) older brother. The one that went off to join the army. Well, I won't get into detail. Instead, since he seems to be in a good mood today, why don't you ask him?
Hmph, I suppose I am in a good mood, huh? So you wish to know about my past? Well you better understand one thing: Tell this to no one, got it? Good.
Now, I was born on Earth, as I am sure you already know. I lived in a house with my parents and younger sister, Anna. We all were pretty content with our lives until, when I was around 12, my Mother became ill and passed away. Things had been hard enough on me as it was, and I do not wish to go on with the details. Once I became of age, I immediately went off to draft myself to the army. At least, that is what I told everyone. You see, my Father once told me of this magical Galaxy that consisted of two sides. The Stars and the Moons. I always thought of this story as real, and I wanted to find out for myself. I figure the best time to do it is when I have the perfect excuse to 'leave'. So I did enlist in the army for some time and made the perfect way of leaving. I disappeared from the area so they all assumed I was dead. I remembered how Father would explain the way one could get the world; you simply must use your energy and wish yourself there. Well, I did and I actually did it. I appeared in a dark castle, surrounded by guards. They took me to the Queen and she explained to me that I was a Savior and I had to fight in a war against her, The Moons, and the other Queen, The Stars. I found that as an easy enough task and began to train myself how to use my newly found ability. I also trained with many guards to learn how to wield a sword. Now, being with the Moons so long, the Queen has granted permission for me to be called a Guard, rather than a Savior.
Now, I also have something else to share. Though, if you have heard the story of my sister, you may already know this. Anna Brooks, my sister, came to the Galaxy years after my arrival. I did not meet her, but I heard of it from her Majesty Victoria. There was talk of a young Princess at the castle, whom no one had seen or heard of until then. The girl's name was Alanna-Mae. I was curious of this girl, so I snuck to the Star Palace while in my wolf form. I spotted her near the garden, playing with her "Mother". It only took me one look and I knew immediately who it was. That was Anna. My sister was now a Princess; and also my rival?! I also found out later that Alanna had no memory of her younger years. She did not even remember me.
I have learned that darkness is a wonderful thing. You can easily give in to it, let it control you until you no longer feel pain or hurt. I do not care anymore. In fact, I hate my sister. She always followed me wherever I went when we lived back on Earth, and this just goes to prove; she still follows me...
Well. Now you have heard my story. I am finished speaking with you. You may leave now.
Well? It was interesting trying to tell this in 1st person, especially as a guy's perspective. If there is anything confusing about it, lemme know!
