Alanna-Mae
Here is the backstory of Alanna-Mae. Alanna is a character in a Roleplay I participate in called Galaxy Wars. I have been meaning to write this for a little while now, and finally got around to it while I was at work. Well here you are!
Anna Brooks was only 6 years old when her whole life became turned upside down. She lived in a small house with her mother, father, and older brother and sister. Her mother, Marianne, was in poor health and her brother, Joey, and father, Louis, always spent most of their time caring for her. Unfortunately, Anna was still very young when her mother passed away and shortly after, her sister ran away as well. When she was 5, Joey left for the army to fight in the current war, leaving her on her own with her father. It was then that they formed a very close bond. A year later Joey was killed during the war and that same year, Anna's father became deathly ill. It came to the day that was said to be Louis' last and he became afraid. He did not wish to leave his daughter alone in such a dangerous world and decided to give her a new life; a new chance to start over.
Louis was born and raised in the Kingdom of the Stars. He was one of Queen Athena's trusted guards before he moved to Earth to be with the human woman he fell in love with, Marianne. Now he felt it was time for his darling Anna to learn of the wonderful place he grew up in. Louis used up all of his energy to travel to the Star Palace with his daughter. They appeared before Queen Athena and King Lars, Louis kneeling on the ground, and Anna standing beside him. Louis glanced up to Athena. "Y-your Majesty...Please...Take my daughter as your own...Remove her memories of life on Earth and fill them with newer, happier ones....Her name...is Anna Brooks, but...please change it. Erase all traces of her memory.." He spoke in a quiet, strained voice.
The Queen approached the dying man and gently placed her hand on his shoulder, tears softly streaming from her eyes. "It shall be done, dear friend. I will take very good care of your precious daughter." Louis managed a weak smile and turned to Alanna. The young girl had tears running down her cheeks. She was confused as to what was going on, but was sure that her father was about to leave her. "Daddy...Daddy don't go!" Louis simply smiled at his darling little girl and kissed her forehead softly. "I love you, Anna. Goodbye..." After speaking his final words, he fell to the ground, no longer moving. Anna threw her body over his, sobbing.
Queen Athena wiped her own tears from her eyes and knelt down to place the girl in her arms. A soft light surrounded Anna and she slowly drifted to sleep, sobbing lightly in her sleep. Anna would never remember anything of Earth or her true family again, as Louis had asked.
Athena rubbed the child's back and spoke softly to her, "Shh...There is nothing to worry about anymore. We will care for you now, my dear Alanna-Mae."
And there you have it! For those in Galaxy Wars, I am planning on finding some way of having Alanna regain her memory bit by bit.
