I went out golfing again, this time at Olmos Basin, the other golfcourse that I work at. I haven't played there in over five years. The fairways are brown (they are supposed to be green) and the greens are choppy and muddy. Overall, the course is in crappy shape. Actually, scratch that. Worse than crappy. It shouldn't even be called a golfcourse.
Now my dad just sold them a multi-million dollar sprinkler system to get the course back into shape by late March. I'm excited. But right now... Ugh. Not to mention that train tracks run right down the fairway of hole seven. An active set of trin tracks. Not cool. Too loud.
Despite all of this, I shot an 80 today. That's bloody brilliant.
Not to mention better than 122. 40 strokes better than 122.
