so, new president today. yup, Presidents Obama has officially been sworn into office. i guess it's a big deal, everyone seems to think so anyway. not because there's a new president, but because he's a black president. bit of a double standard if you ask me. i mean we watched it in three of my classes today. one of my teachers (who is a total liberal) said that she wasn't putting it on just because he was black, it would have been important no matter who had been president. three seconds later she said she wouldn't have turned it on if it had been McCain. like i said double standard, and she always says it's everyone else that doesn't know what they're talking about. i'm obviously not as hyped about it as everyone else. i don't think that Obama is a bad person, i just don't agree with his views, and i wish the republican had been elected, and the whole black president thing has kinda lost it's hype since it's all i've heard for like 5 months. well i guess can't change anything, i just really really really hope that he does a good job as president, cause lets face it, if he doesn't, our whole country is screwed. well good look to you President Obama, don't disappoint us.
