The story I am going to tell you today actually happened yesterday so I hope you wouldn't get confused when I say "Today, I..." or stuff...
Alright, so my morning was wasted on cleaning up. Yes, CLEANING UP. Washing dishes, cleaning the kitchen, sweeping and mopping the floor... Phew!! It took us quite a long time to finish, too!! I also got down the laundry, DID the laundry(with the washing machine's help!) and hung the washed clothes and FOLD the clothes I brought down! Whew! Tough day...
Well, I bet you wouldn't want to know the rest of my day, huh?
I'm still going to tell you what happened anyway. Around 7 pm, we left home because my dad wanted to have a massage at the mall. While waiting, we were at the library reading. Soon, it turned out that the massage centre was not open on Sundays so we headed off to eat dinner then. Eat. Eat. Eat.
We also had desserts--ice cream. Nah, only those cheap ice cream sold in McDonald's... The five of us each had our own cones! While eating, we were also walking towards the bus station for home. We just sat on a bench and waited for a bus.
My five-year-old sister couldn't eat an ice cream cone without it dripping on her hands. Yup! Great. She was one great mess! Her upper lip had a white and brown mustache because of the ice cream. Plus, to make things worse I guess, we did not have any tissue with us!!
We looked so funny as we persuaded her(my sis) to wipe her hands with some receipts we got after eating. Hahaha! My poor five-year-old sis didn't want to wipe her hands with the papers--she kept shaking her head and kept saying "Dili ko! Dili ko!" which means "I don't want" in Visayan.
Suddenly, someone tapped on my father's shoulder and handed us....tissues!! Oh wow, how we laughed! We were sort of embarrassed for pushing my sis to use those papers as a wiper. Hahaha!! We thanked the man umpteen times!
I think I have learned a lesson in this experience. We should all be keen to our surroundings and observe the people around us. We don't know--we might be able to help them!!
THIS IS MY LITTLE SISTER
