Chapter 1: A day in the life of Chiomi Nagasaki.
Wicker Village was bombarded with sunlight that morning. Most people in that Northern town were old-fashioned farmers and merchants...Except for one person: Chiomi Nagasaki. He was very young, about 19 years old with flaming red hair and emerald eyes. He was a painter, an artist. He saw creativity and inspiration everywhere. But this morning seemed slow. He drank his coffee, read the paper and got dressed. Then he decided to get to work as he pulled on his paint smock and walked into his studio. His studio was chock full of paintings. The only clean part of it (the "eye of the storm" you could say.) was where the easel stood, a half-finished painting hanging from it. It was a blend of shades of blue, pink and green, inspired by the light reflecting from the surface of the lake.
It only took a second for Chiomi to vizualize this and get to it right away. It was almost as if his hands were a blur. All of a sudden, Chiomi had to stop for reason. See, Chiomi was born with a genetic disorder. You could call it genetic tuberculosis. For those of you that don't know, it meant that he randomly coughed up blood ever since he was a baby. That's what happened here. When it died down, Chiomi wiped a stray stream of blood from his mouth. "Oh, god." He muttered to himself. He coughed and said to himself, "I think I need some fresh air."
Some fresh air did him some good. It also helped him get some inspiration. He stopped by his favorite place in Wicker Village: the lake. The lake in the morning was just a beauful as it always was, sparkling in the morning sun. Chiomi couldn't help but smile at this. Suddenly, he heard from nearby, "Oh, I love you, Tom." Chiomi turned and saw a young couple cuddling together nearby. "I love you, too, May." Chiomi felt his heart get heavier as they kissed. He sighed, "Oh, why can't my life be like that?" He noticed a cloaked man nearby watching him ever since he left the house, but he didn't give it any mind...until now. The genetic tuberculosis once again kicked in. As he coughed up blood, he immediately stopped when he felt a sharp pain in his chest. He glanced down and felt his chest...it was bleeding. He turned trembling and saw the cloaked man...had a gun in his hand. The man walked over as Chiomi lost conciousness.

If you're wondering, yeah, that's Tail before he was Tail. Cool, huh? And for the genetic tuberculosis thing, It was an impulse but I think It would be ok. Glinda'll get rid of it when she makes Chiomi into Tail, anyway.
