Christmas is getting closer and I just feel like I'm not ready. I think I'd feel more festive if it were snowy outside. But it's not, it's been raining all day today. All day, like it's been hours. Well, for me it has. Did I wake up at 5 this morning again? It was too early to check. >_>

Work was rough yesterday. My assignment was four patients and one empty room. In general, not bad.. until you find out you'll be sending all your patients home and you'll get four more (empty room, remember) and have to do a s**t-ton of work for the new admissions. -_- Very annoyed with the night shift charge nurse for screwing me over. Day shift charge nurse though was wonderful <3 And I think I handled it surprisingly well. Handling extreme stress well is making me wonder if at some point I'll have a nervous breakdown >_>

I was reading in another user's journal about a trip they took to Japan. Oh, I want to go back so badly. Maybe in a few years, after all the trips are done that I have to take, I can go back. I'd love to go in the spring to see the sakura blossoms or the fall because, well, fall is beautiful <3 In 2010 it looks like I'm going to the Philippines for Ryan's brother's wedding.

My self appointed vacation from IRC is a bit hard. I'm more than a tad bit bored right now. I feel like RPing but I'm waiting on other people to post and.. scratch that, one person to post. xD Someone just posted. Exciting ^-^ I've already got my closing scene written for the end of this 'chapter' as I think of it.

The world is based on Kelley Armstrong's Otherworld. If you've not read her books and you like the idea of mythical races (werewolves, vampires, witches, demons) in today's world, then you should. First book is about werewolves, which is what my character is <3 The books really aren't appropriate for children. First book is titled Bitten. I'd recommend it to anyone that likes this genre.
