Last night, Harold and Lita and I went to play pool. Monday's are free if you buy two drinks. Not hungover this time. All in all, it was a lot of fun. Harold really enjoyed getting out and just hanging with one of my friends. Pity I don't have more so we can do it more often.
Going out with my mother shopping today. I'm not really wanting to go. It's snowing already and she wanted to go to lunch, which will of course be my treat. She doesn't even pretend otherwise anymore which is annoying.
Going to get my brother-in-law the movie Its a Trap, some make up for my sister, Borderlands for my brother and the Family Guy trilogy for Harold if I can find it easily. If all goes well, I'll spend the afternoon wrapping gifts. I want to put gifts beneath my little tree.
So, drinking didn't help my diet last night. But so long as I don't drink and eat enough to gain, I'm not going to see it as a bad thing if it slows down my weight loss. I'm sore as ******** from this silly game I bought the other day. It's a game based off of those 10 minute work out DVDs. It had me punching for 5 minutes then stepping on and off the Wii balance board for 5 minutes. I did three sets of these 10 min workouts so it was a 30 min workout. That was two days ago. Holy ******** my legs are sore. At least I know something's working.
Other goals, I'm going to become a gum chewer. Perhaps I'll do that in the evening before bed when snacking is really bad for me. One hour of gum chewing for a year will make you lose a pound. xD Though my goal is to chew gum and not eat the snacks that I crave that time of night.
I also bought this little spiral notebook in which I plan to list reasons why I want to work out today. And then I'll list goals of the day, detailing how I want to work out. I hope to keep that with me to be a reminder of my motivation. An example of one of the reasons I want to work out.. if I bump into Ryan, I don't want to look like a fat slob and have him all skinny and looking good. I don't want Harold's friends to feel that he's settling for a fat slob. I don't want one of my heavy cousins to get smaller than I am. She's got a trainer. So I need to kick it up a notch.
And I feel like a fat slob. @_@ I've gained so much weight. I weighed myself at the end of a day, which I don't normally do. I wanted to see the number, knowing it'd be higher than my empty stomach morning weigh in. It was over 170. I don't remember the last time I did a nightly weigh in and it was over 170. Granted, it was 170.something but still. I was in the 150's for so long. As low as 153. Gained it all back plus some.
Writing about this makes me want to work out. So I'm going to do my 10min work out wii game. And drink some water.
Goal for today: Not to eat horribly. Less snacks, more veggies. And work out in the morning and night.
Long term goal: I'd really like to lose a good amount of weight and look smoking hot in a little black bikini. And one of these days, Harold will propose. I want to be a beautiful bride, not a bountiful bride. If I'm slimmer, I'll have more dress selections since I'll fit into more.
