Everytime I think about it, it just stabs me. Everytime I picture the scene, I just feel beaten up. It was a warm January day(specifically Jan 02). A day perfect for swimming and going out for a stroll. And indeed we were doing all those. My sister received a birthday invitation to Alta Vista from her best friend. How could she turn it down? We prepared all the stuff as my Father prepared the car since Alta Vista was quite far from where we lived. I throw my stuff in the car and my Mom invited my "Kuya" (nephew of my great aunt; Kuya=respectful way to call a boy older than you) to come with us. But he turned it down; Must have been fate. My grandma and my great aunt were left in the house with my Kuya. And we left. My Sis and I enjoy the wind slashing onto our faces as we headed for Alta Vista. As soon as we got there, we quickly changed into our bathing suites and swam with my sis's best bud. "Luv, ilis na mu(change)" my mum calls out to us. We listen to her and grumpily changed. I asked my mom why we needed to leave so soon. She explained to us that my Grandma collapsed in the Comfort Room. On our way back to the house, tears fell down my face. What will happen to her? Will she die??? No, it can't be. Please Lord, let my beloved Grandma live... I thought. We arrived back at our house and my parents left for the hospital.
