True Friends

You are my friend.
O’ so sweet,
To have you around.
You can make me laugh,
With jokes that are not funny.
Just because they come from you,
They are the funniest ever to me.
We fight and argue,
But I never leave your side,
As you will never leave mine.
Friends to the end.
Amigos for life.
Brother’s fight,
But are still brothers.
You can make me seem like a fool,
Or like a genius,
All depending on your mood.
This is because you know me.
You know what I like,
You know what I hate.
A true friend you are.
We share our secrets,
Never to be told.
I trust you with my life,
As I am sure you do the same.
Although it may seem
We are far apart at times,
Just remember that nothing,
No ruthless tornado,
No raging ocean,
No fierce fires,
Can ever separate two true friends,
Like you and I.
