Woo. Happy Halloween. Woo. Do I seem tired to you? Let me tell you, I am. After being up all last night I'm exhausted. It takes a lot of energy to walk from house to house and demand candy. Then I had to get all the crap out of my hair, spiking glue, hairspray, and coloring, my hair felt like dried grass, what a fun experience. Although, I didn't get it all out, and I'm sitting here typing with loads of crap still in my hair, because about half of it refused to come out. Thus, after posting this entry, I plan on shampooing like mad. It's a very disgusting feeling, having the front half of your hair feel like dried grass, that's coated in some substance that makes it thick and kind of stick, then the roots of it are bright red. Yes, it's disgusting. Yet, it doesn't really bother me at the moment, maybe I'm to tired to noticed, or maybe I'm too involved in whatever I'm doing at the moment. A thought struck me just now. Why exactly do we celebrate Halloween? Is it so we can dress up in tacky costumes and rot our teeth with candy? Or is it so that we can spend time with our friends, and play tricks on those who don't give us treats. It still amazes me how even older teens still go trick-or-treating. Why do they go? Children go to get candy obviously, but do older teens even want the candy? Do they simply go for the chance to stay up late and roam the neighborhood? It ceases to amaze me at what goes on. I distinctly remember one house, it has tons of decorations, fog machine and all, and a man, dressed up as Jason, who walks slowly towards one, a knife raised. It is not scary in the sense of someone popping out at you, it scary in the sense that there is a man holding a knife, coming to kill you. Well anyways, a word of non-deep in the least advice: Spend some time with your friends, so that your bonds grow stronger, and that you don't float apart. Say, next Halloween, spend the night with your friends, wearing crazy costumes and living your life to the fullest. Just something to chew on.
