Tigeres
This would be the story where you get to find out about me. Exciting, yes? Fourteen years ago, I was secretly born to my parents. My mother is someone I guarantee you've never heard of; her name is Despoina, meaning Mistress or Lady. You would know my father, Ares. As my fourteenth birthday rolled around, I found myself in a bit of trouble. I happened to be wandering around the Crete forest, when I crossed the path of a lion. I would have to guess that the beast had just made a kill not far from where we currently stood in duel, for his mouth was drenched with a thick red residue. I drew back, inching myself toward the tree behind me. Unfortunately, my climbing skills failed me as I clung to the middle of the trunk. Down below me, the lion sneered and barred his incredibly long fangs. Panicking now, I tried to climb higher into the tree, only to fall, landing on the lion below me. Terrified of what could possibly happen to me, I prayed like no one ever had, to my father, Ares. Granting my wish, he changed me into an equally terrifying beast. The lion was frightened, and ran away. I thanked my father, but then the bad luck that had fallen, dawned on me. I was stuck as this beast; an orange and black beautiful beast, but I was forever stuck. I couldn't approach my mother again, for she was afraid, and didn't know it was me. I named the beast I had become a Tiger, after the name my mother had given me.
