Let me begin with Friday night...
*ahem*
Friday night (as you know) was a complete conundrum. After Michelle left I sat around and drank. Watched a movie or two, and went to bed, waiting for saturday. Saturday morning started off really sour. My mom stood me up for our plans this weekend, and psycho ex is trying to make my life hell again. When I got off the phone with madre, I suddenly got a text from a friend of mine. It simply said "Plans?" So I texted her back and said no. Little did I know she'd gotten the whole gang together to go downtown for the afternoon. blaugh Finally! I was getting out of the house.
First we went to the International district for Dim-sum and manga. Then we went to this place we like to call the "Black Market Fish store" (because of all of the illegal fish that they have. But it's a really cool place to look around.) and toodled off to Pioneer square to look at architecture and forced perspective moldings (what? We're art geeks. It's what we do!). We decided to take 3rd ave home and came across a little vintage place called "Diva Dolls". It was GREAT! Such cute and sexy things. All in very good taste. Then again, back downtown, past all of the skyscrapers (I got to give a lesson on 3+ point perspective) finding new places in every crevice. A new marketplace, art supply store, hair studio, the works!
By the time I got home, William was just waking up. He got on his computer and then realized I had just gotten home. "Where were you all day?" he said half snappishly. "Out". I said simply. He looked at me, and then looked at his computer. "...oh." he said and then put on his headphones. I knew he was hurt. He doesn't like working nights because it means he can't be a part of these wonderful experiences. So I walked over and closed his laptop. He looked at me a little shocked (this was the first time I'd come between him and his second love in life). I smiled at him and said "Let's watch a movie. You pick the title, and I'll make us some dinner." He shrugged and agreed, pulling Howl's Moving Castle from the shelf. It was wonderful. We snuggled up on the sofa together and I soon passed out in the arms of my wonderful partner.
When I awoke, it was 3 o'clock this morning and I was in bed; all tucked in. I got up and came to the kitchen for a glass of water. To my surprise, it was clean! What a wonderful man... I thought. So I texted him my gratitude, and have started to bake some cookies for when he gets home. Speaking of which, the next batch is ready to come out. 3nodding
So until next time, this is me saying "There's a silver lining to EVERY cloud."
Later Datez~
