Yes, I realize it's been a while since anyone's heard a peep out of me. So let me start by telling you about Roll Call:
Well, I was at work wednesday before our scholarship show and decided to eat a PBnJ. Apparently, this was a bad choice. By the end of my shift I had a horrible fever and couldn't see straight. Hooray for salmonella. stare So I called my mother who promptly came up and took care of me. That Friday I was supposed to set up for my show, but I couldn't even function properly. However, with $10k on the line, you'd better believe I got my punk a** out of bed. Unfortunately, the school didn't even know what was going on with their show. So I set up my installation and happily returned to my bed; not to be heard from until the following Monday (and not getting a scholarship either. Because apparently they only like "edgy" work rolleyes ). That was the week before spring break.
Spring break rolls around. You'd think I'd be off on a grand adventure... after work. As Mel Brooks would say, it was all "Work work work." However, my lack of homework meant catching up on my Red Dwarf time. wink
The week after spring break was Sophomore Reviews. Everyone in the school had sweaty palms at this point. We were at each other's throats! However, my review went ridiculously well. Apparently I remind my professors of a "young Andy Worhol". sweatdrop Not really what I was going for, but hey, I'll take whatever I can get. It was about this time I rediscovered what it was to be social again. So I started hanging out with my friend Jessi, and we pretty much tore up the town. My poor liver's still trying to catch up pirate
Now I'm working on all of my final projects, and hanging out with my new crew (Jessi, other Corey, Alex, Annie, Colin, Mika, Helen, Andy-Pandy, and of course my darling William.) and finally have things to do on a friday night!!! Hooray!!!! No more sitting in front of the computer or cleaning up after my roommates. Look out world! I'm back on the scene! cool
This weekend, I'm picking up a kiln from one of my professor's who is moving. I'm going to spend most of tomorrow setting it up down at my folks place (since there's no room for it in my tiny apartment). And then it's back to school for me! With very little sleep at night. wink
But I'm not complaining! Because things are finally starting to get back on track for me.
So this is your elusive punk saying take care, and going *Poof*
