Im finally writing again!!!

I awoke to find myself wrapped in Riku's arms. I looked up at his gorgeous face to find that he was staring at me. He leaned down and kissed my forehead "Welcome to my world" he said and smiled. I sat up and rested my head on his shoulder while I gazed at the stars.

Everything was so much clearer than I had remembered, and I could see more stars than I ever had before. "Wow ever--" I stopped, the voice that was coming from my lips did not sound like my old human voice. It was beautiful, with a new kind of tone to it. I cleared my throat and continued, "Everything is so clear and brilliant." I looked at Riku and he just nodded and smiled.

After gazing around a bit with my new eyes I felt Riku stand up. I looked at him and he just jumped swiftly into the tree. I watched him carefully as he did this and repeated. I landed gently on the branch next to him. He looked at me with the same serious look he had given me when he ask if I wanted to become a vampire and asked "How do you like it?" I replied happily as i wrapped my arms around him "I love it".

He smiled and unwrapped my arms, "Follow me, I have a gift for you". He jumped from the tree and ran in the direction of his house. I did as he said and followed. We ran at an amazing speed, and as we were running I relized that everything around us should have been just a blur. It wasn't though, everything we past was just as clear as if we were strolling by. We reached his house quickly and Riku raced upstairs as I sat on a couch in his living room.

As he was walking down the stairs I noticed that he was holding a box in his hands. I looked more closely and saw that the velvet box had my name in gold across the top. Riku sat next to me on the couch and laid the box in my hand. I looked from him to the gift and then slowly opened the lid.

Inside lay a beautiful moonstone ring, almost identical to the one Riku had on his finger. "Read the inscription." he said in a whisper. I picked up the ring and looked inside, it read 'Forever by my side'. I was speachless.

"This isn't an engagmant ring, but it is kind of like a promise ring.... and I want you to listen and keep this promise to me." he said, and I just nodded. "Juat like the ring says, promise me that you'll never leave me. I want you to be right here with me for all eternity." he said and he slipped the ring on my finger. "Of course, you've always been my friend and you always will be..... no matter what." I held his hand, then leaned in to kiss him.


I hope that was good enough to make up for not updating for the lat few months.
