Goodbye Milton
Well, its been a couple of days, and Milt hasn't returned, which leads me to believe he has passed on. He was the smallest bird I had, being not much higher than 3 inches. He was tiny and panicky and inexperienced with life outside the coop. There's no hope. He was a gentle little fellow, and that led him to get picked on. He loved dog food, and ate some every night that he was at our house. I was hoping that him and Powder would get together and make cute little babies. Milt was shown at the fair this year, and took home fourth place. He was marked down because there was not enough white on his feathers. I thought he was handsome just the way he was. I still have some video footage of him, and that's a comfort.
