Having some spare time today, I set out in search of the creature in Barton Towns. I was aware of the fact that I was dangerously ill-equipt for any type of conflict, however somehow I suspected that I would not locate the monster on my first attempt. I was correct. Even so, the search did help me better understand the layout of the area surrounding my lab. I returned empty-handed but armed with a bit more knowledge.

Edit: Upon my return to my lab, I began to notice a slight itching on my left forearm. Closer examination revealed there to be a tiny puncture wound. Most likely the cause of this is an insect bite. I will clean it and hopefully it will heal up shortly.
